Bespoke Family History Volumes Package (digital)

Tips on how to get more out of your commissioning of a Bespoke Family History Volume package:

1. The more documents you have the better. These are what build the heart and soul of your narrative volume, and shape the chapters about your ancestors. While we have a 2000 document standard limit, we will work with you to ensure that additional documents can be accommodated (this may extend standard package turnaround times).

2. Family tree files (GEDCOM) are very helpful. They help us build out your family tree and turn our research focus from finding names and dates to finding more of those interesting life details. GEDCOM files have .ged at the end of their name.

3. Any family legends, stories, etc. that you may know are always fun to track down. Keep in mind that any tall tales or family lore that we cannot prove through research may contradict that fun story told at family reunions. We won't put contradicted family lore into the volumes unless you request it.

4. We redact any mention of living persons from the volumes as a matter of privacy, so please limit your document submissions to deceased generations as much as possible. We never share your documents or information, but as a matter of practice we request you not give us any more information on living persons than is absolutely necessary.

Return Policy:

Since the value of this product is based on the amount of research, writing, and editing being done, our return policy is based on the progress and costs of the project at the time that the project is canceled and the refund requested.

Refund requested prior to uploading your documents: 100% refund

Refund requested within 5 days of uploading your documents: 70% refund

Refund requested prior to delivery of first draft: 50% refund*

*This is due to the amount of research and writing already completed.

Refund requested after delivery of first draft but before delivery of final version: 30%
