Alden & Hopkins was born out of a personal project to do something with all of the boxes of family documents that our founder had sitting in his house. From generations of military documents to love letters between great grandparents, it was a trove of family history gold, but what to do with it all?

That is how the Family History Volumes and the companion (The Sweethearts and Family Military History) volumes came to be. It was a way to baseline his family history so that future generations could expand upon all of the research done already instead of re-doing that research.

Casual conversations about the project turned into a small business idea, but what to name the business? Why not name it after his Mayflower ancestors, John Alden and Stephen Hopkins?

Well, that's our story, and we hope to help you preserve your own family story with the same care and dedication that we show to our own volumes!
